Mimic Duel support

Mimic Duel is a photo guessing game for two players on one iPhone, or two to four players across two devices through Game Center.

How to play

Tap Play and follow the tutorial. On an ordinary iPhone, each player privately sees an emoji and takes a selfie in turn. Pass the phone when prompted. Guess the other player’s emoji, then both lock your answers to reveal the result.

On iPhone Duo, partially fold the phone and sit on opposite camera-facing sides. Each display shows its own secret prompt. After capturing, fully open the phone to guess.

Online invitations

Use different Game Center accounts on two devices. Both devices need internet access. Choose Play Online, invite a friend, and confirm readiness. Each Duo can have one or two local players. Automatic matchmaking is not available. Leaving the app or losing the connection ends the match; start a new invitation to play again.

Camera and Photos

Allow Camera access in Settings to take performances. If the camera is interrupted, return to the game and retry the round. Duo play also needs both physical cameras and the outer display available. On ordinary iPhones the game uses the front camera.

Save to Photos asks only to add collages; the app does not read your photo library. If saving is denied, update Photos permissions in Settings or use Share session.

Your session

Rounds and scores are held in memory. Save or share collages before ending a session or closing the app. Incomplete rounds are discarded after interruption. There is no account-based recovery or automatic reconnection.
